It starts with you
Sometimes it’s hard to find words for our emotions. Arts psychotherapy offers children and adults of all ages and abilities a creative alternative to traditional counselling.
Real Connections combines the therapeutic powers of creative expressions (visual art, nature, music, movement, drama and play) with counselling and psychotherapy, tapping into the subconscious in ways that are more difficult to reach via traditional methods of counselling.
Real Connections Art Therapy provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals, groups and families to explore creative processes while applying psychological theory and lived experiences within a therapeutic relationship.
Begin your journey towards personal growth, self-healing, awareness and connection.
With options that include individual sessions, with adults or children , group psychotherapy and team-building experiences for the workplace, Real Connections Art Therapy’s person-centered approach will tap into your five senses, bringing about clarity and a new awareness of your own world.

Becoming an Arts Psychotherapist evolved from my own lived experience and personal desire to support others in their healing journey. A natural and holistic approach to health/ well-being paved the way to further my education and complete my Bachelors Degree in Arts Psychotherapy at the IKON Institute of Australia . I believe communication and human connection is a key ingredient to support mental health and well-being.
Real Connections Art Therapy was created to provide a safe non judgmental collaborative space for people of all ages to feel supported. I've had the opportunity to support a variety of population groups including woman's groups , people with addictive behaviors , people experiencing mental health challenges and people with all abilities. Developing children's and adolescence art therapy programs is something I'm most passionate about. My therapeutic approach is person centered, compassionate and supportive whether in a group or individual session.
Creativity has many forms...exploring the power of expressive art therapies may offer new pathways to self awareness finding answers to unlock ones full potential and to help overcome mental blocks.
My goal is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental safe space for you to explore your inner world.
